2008 APRI Northeast Regional Conference  

The 2008 APRI Northeast Regional Conference will be held Friday, March 14 through Sunday, March 16, 2008 at the Clarion Hotel & Convention Center at 6821 Black Horse Pike, West Atlantic City, NJ. The 2008 Northeast Regional conference is being hosted by the Essex & Hudson County NJ Chapters.

This year’s regional will focus on the 2008 General Election, Political organizing, building community coalition, building youth alliance and other topical issues of concern to the labor movement and the civil rights of all working Americans.

The Northeast Regional will begin on Friday, March 14th with registration at 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. and again Saturday, March 15th at 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. The opening session starts Friday at 6:00 p.m. and the conference will conclude on Sunday, March 16th with a wrap up session from 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. A detailed agenda for the conference is being prepared and will be available shortly.

The hotel room rate is $109.00 plus tax single/double. The conference registration fee is $110.00, which includes all workshop materials, Friday evening reception and Saturday luncheon.

The cut off date for the Clarion Hotel is February 15, 2008. Participants should make reservations directly with the hotel and reference A. Philip Randolph when making your reservations. No hotel reservations will be handled by the national office.
