APRI Baltimore Chapter Hosts Annual Awards Banquet

The A. Philip Randolph , Baltimore Chapter will hold its Annual Awards Banquet on Monday, April 19,2010 , at Martin’s West , 6817 Dogwood Road, Baltimore, MD, from 6:00 P.M. to 10:00 P.M.
In commemoration of Mr. Randolph and the outstanding work that he did for social and political freedom and his untiring efforts to bring about economic justice for all workers in this country, our chapter will present two awards during the Banquet, the A. Philip Randolph Legacy Award and the A. Philip Randolph Community Service Award.
The recipient of the A. Philip Randolph Legacy Award is Rod Easter, President of the Baltimore Building and Construction Trades Council and President of the Maryland State and DC Trades Council, and Donna Edwards, Secretary-Treasurer of the Maryland State and District of Columbia AFL-CIO, is the recipient of the A. Philip Randolph Community Service Award. Both of these individuals have been exemplary leaders and have fought for political, social and economic justice in the workplace and in their communities.
