Randolph Annual Awards Banquet & Birthday
Celebration on April 14, 2012 at the
North Raleigh
Hilton, 3415 Wake Forest Road Raleigh, North
Carolina 27609. This event will start at
6:00 pm and end at 9:00 pm.
This event is our opportunity to spotlight outstanding contributions of community activists, elected officials and labor leaders who, following Mr. Randolph’s legacy, have made strides toward sustaining freedom, social equality and worker’s rights. Human rights activists and supporters from across the state will come together to celebrate the legacy of A. Philip Randolph.
The Honorable U. S. Congressman Brad Miller will be the Keynote speaker.
Proceeds from this event will support voter registration, voter education, get-out the-vote (G.O.T.V.) strategies and community service programs such as closing the health disparity gap in our community, and feeding the hungry initiatives. The North Carolina A. Philip Randolph Institute is a non-partisan, non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization. Our officers, board of directors, and members are committed to increasing volunteerism.
