WHY is APRI doing this?:
For years under the leadership of our amazing APRI National Board Member Fred Mason, APRI has been a Healthcare advocate for diseases that continue to run rampant among the disenfranchised communities that we serve and live in. And each year members of our delegation come to National Education Conference battling known and unknown healthcare issues...
How can we ask people in our communities to go vote, when they are constantly fighting just to be healthy and live?
Over the years the National Education Conference has been a key source in educating our members and communities through various education panels, workshops - but we also offer testing around specific healthcare topics - and this year is no exception.
During this year's conference pre-planning, APRI is ensuring local connections for various healthcare issues, including spaces for delegates to continue treatment, such as dialysis, while attending the conference. This year we are extend that kind of service as much as possible by partnering with these two great organizations.
